Easter!!!

Lots of candy for Easter! we got the Easter bunny X 3 once the weekend before in Preston.

The chocolate bunnies, some peeps and egg gum!

And 2 more times on Easter Sunday. Once for me but with enough candy for 2 of more!
And once for T with enough candy for at least 2 so we have a ton! I like peeps a lot but not this much! It is going to take us a while to eat it all. T all ready didn't feel the best after all that he ate on Sunday.
It was a great day Happy Easter honey!

Little Boys

On Thursday the 21st I watched 3 of my friends 9 children. They were a ton of fun and also exhausting:)
I decided that it would be fun for them to go to my house for a change.
They were obsessed with my fish and our broken gumball vending machine. The littlest was especially interested in the gumball machine he kept going over to it and tried to turn the nob then looked at me with puppy dog eyes saying please let me have one. The older boys only did it a couple of times but eventually understood that it was broken and I was not giving in to getting them one. The youngest never understood. I think he just though I was saying no, not no it is broken. I knew that even if I had taken the whole thing apart to get just one for them that would be the start of if she can get one she can get one every 15 seconds. So i decided not to do that even though they were so cute.

More fish!
I was listing off animals to this guy wondering which ones he liked. I added to the list his sister and he informed me that "she was NOT an animal. She is a person, and all persons are people." So there you have it.

It also hailed and thundered while they were over but they were great and didn't even flinch!

It was a fun and busy day!!

Dryer

So our dryer broke on April 11th ..... that was not fun. The heating element stopped working while I was drying my work clothes which I started right before I went to bed and found out that it was broken the next morning when I went to get my clothes to go to work in and they were still soaking wet. so I went to work in wet clothes.

Later that day T took it all apart (because he is amazing like that) to find out what was wrong for sure and a coil was burnt out on the heating element. Problem found, after that we had to decide whether we wanted to just get a new one or replace the part. I went to the store to find the replacement piece which was $40 and also found a different used dryer for $40. Since my husband is so amazing and smart he found the replacement part on-line for only $12 so we decided to fix it when the part came in a week later on April 18th, and now it is working great again! Yeah!

Just because

I have 2 reasons to blog today:
1. I feel like it but am not sure what to blog about.
2. I added a new gadget some facebook thing and so I want to see if it shows up on my facebook when I add something new on here if it doesn't work then I am baffeled by how others do it and may need someone to tell me what to do.

I have a random post for today T was talking about fireworks yesterday and I stumbled across some of our pics from last year so there is my topic I guess.

Firework season is approaching quickly but is yet so far away. It is always a quick, and exhausting season but it sure is fun to sell them, run them around, and blow them up. But this year will be hard since T will be in school full time this next semester. So who know how involved he will be able to be. But I don't think that he will be able to resist being involved some since he enjoys doing it so much.

Friends

Our good friends had their baby and we visited them in the hospital welcome to the world baby girl.


I had to turn this pic black and white because it turned out really dark and you could hardly see their faces in the colored one. I am not photo savy at all.


I think that she looks pretty darn good after having a baby.

Visiting

T and I went and visited my Aunt and her 3 cute kids today for a little while. The littlest one cried when he saw us for the first time ever, and his 2 sisters ran away and said we weren't their cousins even though they have seen me multipule times. Only Nikole, and Kylie are their cousins.lol lily is quiet and really shy but talked some with us and Kate warmed up really quick and is so animated and funny. she told us all kinds of stories and we loved it. T tickled her and she hid behind the couch and gave him the most evil glare. lol it was too funny and even funnier when she walked really close to him again tempting him to tickle her. she was a crack up!

Things that I have learned from my little cousin Kate today
1. Water is soft
2. Rivers don't have rocks
3. Rivers are safe because there are no sharks in them
4. It would be the most fun thing ever to go over a big water fall in a kayak

You learn something new every day.

Baby's, Baby's, Baby's

So a lot of my friends are having baby's one friends was delivered yesterday, another is going to have hers by Sunday and the third is having hers by Tuesday!!! Those are just in the next week I also have 2 other friends and 2 of T's cousins that are due in only 3 months!!!

I think that you can say that I am surrounded, and that I love it! I don't think that T loves it though because I am a bit baby hungry now and mention something about baby's at least once a day. Even though I know it is not quite the right time for us I can't help it, I want one! I think there is a switch in my head (called the "I want a baby now" switch) that gets turned on when I am around a prego woman, a new born baby, an infant, or a toddler. But this switch also can get turned off in 2 ways slowly over time after not being around any of the things that turn it on, or quickly after hearing about the long and painful labor process (but after hearing about the birth if I see the baby then it gets switched right back on again). Ugggggg I do love baby's.
