My 24ht Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and it was filled with amazingness until the very last second!

I am 24 I remember thinking about turning 24 when I was a teen. My plan was married by 20, first kid by 21 (or at least prego) and second baby by 24. So far my life plans have not gone how I planned not so long ago. But I realized that my plan was really off track a few months before I was 22 which is when I made a new plan. That plan was graduate from BYU-Idaho with a bachelors in Recreational management in one more semester (which I did, finally something as planned), then move to pocatello go to cosmetology school and graduate from there by 24. Just a few months later all that changed.

I am not sure why a big chunk of my teachers insisted on me writing long papers about my 5 year plans when they all changes in just a few months. They should have called it "what I want to do within a five year period but probably won't because I am a single college student where everything will change in a very short time".

Anyways my life has turned out way better and more exciting then I could have ever imagined it would be when I turned 24. Since all my plans changed again when I met Terrance just after I turned 22. There is nothing more amazing that could have happened to me then Terrance and I am thrilled with all the life changes that I get to experience. I still try to have my 5 year plan in mind that I know can and will change at any moment. But a few of the amazing things that Terrance brought into my life is, more spontaneity, and more security. Having him in my life has made it easier to accept that things will change all the time but I know that no matter what he will be in my life and we will be able to over come anything together and make the absolute best out of what ever life throws at us. Which makes me so excited to see what the future will bring!

So back to my birthday:

I got......

A picture frame from Terrance

A necklace from LuJean, Mallory, and Conrad (some in-laws)

Sewing stuff from Terrance

Lots of flannel from Terrance

A cake from Jen

I made a cheese cake (no pic sorry) for my real birthday cake which was amazing I got this cake a few hours after.

This next group of pictures are me trying to be artistic with my gifts and take some cool pics.
A sewing machine from Terrance that I got today in the mail. Isn't he amazing!

Vampire mints and a cool flashlight from my parents.

I did not succeed at my artistic task but I tried.

So that was my birthday Pretty amazing wasn't it. I sure do think so Thanks everyone for making it so great!!!!

I didn't realize you sew also. Must run in the family. Samantha loves sewing. I posted some of her projects on my blog. What are you going to sew?
